South Africa’s first premium flavoured beer Flying Fish brought the streets of Sandton to a standstill this weekend – 3rd June 2017, with the finale of the Flying Fish Street Cruise Experience. Hosted by South Africa’s new age talents: DJ Doowap and hip hop starlet Rouge. Popular radio and club DJ’s Roger Goode and DJ Switch kept the crowd entertained throughout the afternoon. The event was a one of a kind, a sundowners-party-bus made to look like a luxury yacht, which gave enthusiasts an exclusive and unusual party experience.
The finale of the Street Cruise ended with a beach volleyball island party in the middle of Sandton, at a swanky venue called The Sands. Guests were treated to cocktails and culinary experiences through the day while touring the city of gold from a completely different lens.
The Flying Fish Street Cruise finale was attended by familiar industry faces who turned up in real flavoursome style. These included the likes of actress Fezokuhle Zulu, celebrity make-up artist Vuyo Varoy, TV presenters Danine Naidoo and Gemaen Taylor, Idols Season 8 finalist Simphiwe Gwegwe, rapper Marc Schultza and Leeroy Marc of BET A- List to name a few.
The Flying Fish Street Cruise will be making s come-back around the country again this coming Summer, so keep your eyes locked if you missed on this season’s opportunity to Street Cruise!
