Two worlds collide with the introduction of two main apparel drops under two distinctive creative directions: beach chic and motorsport. Beachy and badass, the collection is a vibrant, unexpected mashup of high fashion, extreme sports and beachwear.
“This collection is a mix between two worlds: motocross and surf. It was a challenge to bring them together, but it ended up being the perfect combination,” beamed Rihanna at the FENTYxPUMA Spring-Summer ‘18 show in September.
Masculine motorsport gear meets laced-up lingerie. Oversized, androgynous silhouettes are paired with sexy skintight swimwear. Summer vibes are in full effect with bold branding, daredevil detailing and splashes of neon. It is a collection born to hit the beach, ready to make waves.
True to the FENTY PUMA by RIHANNA DNA, Rihanna continues to play with gender-fluid silhouettes and oversized shapes paired with sexy body-con styles. Perennial collection favourites are reimagined in new seasonal appropriate fabrics and colours. The classic Track Suit is updated with a surf-inspired twist with neon bungee cords and super lightweight rubber coated leather.
The iconic lacing leggings were refashioned with bungee cords and cutouts up to there in pop colours like Cherry Tomato. The neon hits, wet-looked gel prints, wetsuit pullers and rubber patch details throughout the collection are a nod to throwback surf and extreme watersport culture.
