Newcomer Soweto Born Singer, Songwriter; Bonj is in New York to perform at the annual UN General Assembly. Recording artist Bonj, who is signed to Tresors Jacquel Music Group, is having an incredible year. Earlier this year, she released a single with DJ Zinhle which saw her perform it live at the Sam Smith concert during his visit to South Africa in April.
She is now in New York for to speak at the UN’s Social Good Summit and perform at the UN General Assembly. Now in its tenth year, the Social Good Summit brings together leading thinkers – activists, politicians, scientists, diplomats, artists, and more; for a day of inspired conversation on how we can all help our global community achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by the target year of 2030.
These goals seek to improve the quality of life for all people, lifting up everyone and leaving no one behind. Soweto’s Bonj will perform in front of a live audience in New York to show her support to The Lion’s Share Fund – a fund hosted by the United Nations Development Programme created to tackle the crisis in biodiversity.
