An enthusiastic dance floor welcomed Budweiser King of Decks winner Nkanyezi Kubheka, as he took to the Ultra Main Stage, injecting some Afro-house and Amapiano into his unique opening set, igniting a cheering crowd, setting the tone and energizing dancers for the rest of the day’s performances, including DJ Fresh & Euphonik, Black Coffee, DJ Snake, and Steve Aoki.

One of the highlights of the night was the BUDX Stage. A dynamic collective of DJs, producers and performers including DJ Zinhle, Major League, El Makuka, DJ Lag and many more, embraced the opportunity to deliver an electrifying showcase of African dance experience.

The packed dance floor was immersed in cutting edge sounds from the Mzansi clubbing underground, a textured and energetic presentation from the Kings of African electronic dance music culture. The undeniable beats of Gqom and Amapiano proved successful, a true indication that African dance music trends have taken their place on the global scene.

Sho Madjozi, once again proved to be one of Africa’s most exciting live acts with a performance that was nothing short of spectacular. Her infectious beats and melodies, energetic dancing and rapping had the entire dance floor come along for the ride, and cements Sho Madjozi’s reputation as a consummate performer.
