Given the implications of the COVID-19 pandemic on the normal state of business, Pacinamix – a transformational creative company, will on Saturday, 30 May host a live digital experience fusing African music, food, fashion and art not only to celebrate Africa’s creative originality but also to showcase the company’s resilience and agility during uncertain times. The live event will be streamed on the company’s YouTube channel.
Hosted by South Africa’s sweetheart Nomzamo Mbatha, the two-hour-long live event boasts a headliner programme featuring live music by South Africa’s favourite musicians Lira and Mbuso Khoza. A fashion exchange experience by Palesa Mokubung of Mantsho – the first African designer to collaborate with global clothing brand H&M, and a beauty talk by Thando Hopa– the first woman with albinism to grace the cover of Vogue magazine, will surely keep fashion lovers glued to their screens.
Saadique Ryklief, an award-winning and innovative trendsetter will also share his expertise on African hair, Head Chef Katlego Mlambo will give us a virtual taste of Africa in a food segment while an artist represents the art fraternity with a show and tell of some of their amazing work. This exquisite programme will be rounded off with a set by wave-maker, South Africa’s DJ Zinhle.
