Zoë Modiga Drops Her Much Anticipated Second Album

When talking about great bodies of work, Zoë Modiga’s new album Inganekwane must be included. The sophomore offering of Inganekwane, translated “Zulu fairytale” entails introspection that reveal messages of identity and reflects on the myth of blackness. The 16-track body of work is a powerful lyrical album of storytelling through jazz and is nothing short of amazing.

This release comes after her debut album titled “Yellow The Novel”, which was released in 2017. Since its release, the album has been received well by audiences as her album reached number one on Apple Music world chart.

The album includes collaborations from South African Grammy-winning studio engineers, Papi Direste and Oyama Songo, American Grammy winning mixing engineers Carlos Bedoya and Marc Urselli and Grammy-winning mastering engineer Jose Blanco. Stream the album HERE!
