DStv remains committed to investing in authentic African stories as well as storytellers and has already amassed a local content library of over 60 000 hours. Perfectly timed to coincide with the “month of love”, M-Net, Mzansi Magic, and Showmax will premiere four new local original movies to add to DStv’s ever-expanding collection.
These local films follow the success of a strong slate of locally produced Christmas movies, which included the widely watched M-Net original films A Twisted Christmas, Home Affairs: A Christmas Tale and A Zulu Christmas.
