Hey guys! I am Thandolwethu Tsekiso the coastal baby. Durban born and bred, I am a content creator, Gagasi FM‘s fashion/style contributor, lifestyle and fashion blogger with a B Com degree in marketing management and supply chain management.
I initially created my blog, Iamthandolwethu, to share my thoughts in hope that they could inspire and help someone move forward from life’s challenges. I then went on to explore and share my personal style by sharing fashion tips on how to look good on a budget – this was mainly because I saw a lot of young ladies falling into the trap of social media pressure, of wearing designer goods which they really can’t afford.
I really believe in the saying “Dress how you want to be addressed” and each of my looks are inspired by each days planned activities over and above how I feel that day, because feelings are temporary and impressions are ever lasting.
Monday

Mondays are usually for some down time, doing a little bit of admin stuff here and there such as responding to emails. And if I leave the house, it’s usually for a small errand like run around to the grocery store for junk 😉 *hehe* so I’m not trying to be in anything confining especially in sunny side Durban.
Tuesday

I enjoy items of clothing that allows you to create different looks with . This shirt in particular you can wear with the sleeves up or down and when you fold it over, it has a different design underneath. Button up or button down for the appeal you want. This denim skirt can be worn back to front depending on which side you are comfortable and like wearing your slit.

Wednesday
Wednesdays are usually my alone-time days where I mostly plan out my weeks’ schedule. I am a collector of caps and have loved them forever. Not only because of how they save us ladies, during those bad hair days, but they give such a cool feeling. They’re also like a hide out on my low key days.

Thursday
I could be attending a launch or event of some sort, and so I need to look and feel good while engaging with my peers . A must have item in every ladies wardrobe is a crisp white shirt.

I have paired mine with pleather leggings and thigh high leather boots for an edgy yet clean look.

Friday

Hello weekend! With a few meetings still to handle before I let loose, I still need a look which can comfortably carry me through the day and into the afternoon for sundowners or a fabulous cappuccino – love in a cup!

Saturday
Saturdays are for spoils! Lunch with the girls or attending a fab event or umcimbi as we call it. I really enjoy print and the different ways one can style it to achieve a variety of looks.

If I’m not going super girly (Which is usually the case) , I’m taking a slight step in something quite unexpected from me. I love surprising people!

Sunday
Let’s take it to church! But we can’t really take it ALL to church. So Sundays I tone down the looks to subtle and still appealing garments and I usually go for dresses.

I particularly love this mellow yellow cotton knee length dress because it gives me enough breathing space between all the PRAISE, and the mesh detail in the front area is also subtle enough.
