Last week we had the pleasure of attending our very first Comic Con Africa, sponsored by our new friends at Count Pushkin Vodka. The brand hosted us at their beautifully curated stand, Pushkin Park, where we got to taste their newly launched flavour, Count Pushkin Energy Infused-Grape.

Pushkin Park was kitted with the most fun and creative arcade games, a selfie booth as well as a comfy seating area where you could chill an enjoy your Count Pushkin Vodka cocktail.

It was also great to see a predominately white space like Comic Con shine the spotlight on African creatives, as they brought an all-African panel to give comic fans insight into the realities that African artists face in the industry. The likes of Kudwashe Rwizi, Tafadzwa Shumba, Charles Adesanmi, Bill Masuku, Gerald Basaka, Somto Aljuluchukwa, Moises Junior, and Daniel Oluwale joined the panel for a heartfelt discussion on the importance of empowering African creatives.
