After three remarkable years of service  to the Alexander community through community broadcast media; Karabo also known as “KMASS” Masemola has finally reached the door to fulfilling her dream of heading into the prime time of radio broadcasting. The young, talented and creative KMASS is leaving Africa’s first ever community radio station, Alex FM, to join the most vibrant youth radio station – YFM.

Leaving this iconic community radio station; she leaves behind a legacy of dedication, community impact and undeniable growth.  Karabo Masemola first joined Alex FM as host of a youthful hip hop show – The Mixtape Show – where her talent and magnetic energy quickly caught the eyes of Alex FM’s Programme Leadership to earn her promotion to prime time broadcasting on the Alex FM broadcast platform where she was promoted to be the host of the mid-morning weekday show. During her journey of growth within the Alex FM platform; her light seemed too bright to ignore and that led her to an even greater opportunity on the Alex FM platform.  The opportunity was that of becoming host on an even bigger prime time show – the afternoon drive-time show The Fast Lane, where she captured countless hearts across the Alex community including the community and beyond.
