This will be a day to remember.”

With a career spanning nearly four decades, Kirk Whalum is more than a saxophonist—he is a musical force who has redefined cool through his signature blend of contemporary jazz, gospel, and R&B. From lending his emotive tone to iconic hits by Luther Vandross and Whitney Houston (including the unforgettable solo on “I Will Always Love You”), to performing with legends like Barbra Streisand, Quincy Jones, Al Jarreau, and Larry Carlton, Whalum’s artistry knows no bounds.

His prolific output includes over 25 albums under his own name, a Grammy-winning performance on his Gospel According to Jazz series, and collaborations with jazz greats like Bob James and supergroup BWB (with Norman Brown and Rick Braun). Always evolving, always inspiring, Whalum brings a message of soul, faith, and passion to every performance.

Rising to fame with her emotionally powerful debut Amazulu, Amanda Black has since established herself as one of the most dynamic vocalists in South Africa, earning multiple award nominations and captivating audiences with her soulful blend of Afro-soul and contemporary pop. Her presence brings an empowering energy and depth to the line-up. Wandile Mbambeni, known for his heartfelt lyrics and raw acoustic sound, is a singer-songwriter whose music bridges introspective folk with modern soul. Whether performing solo or with his band, Wandile delivers an intimate yet uplifting live experience that resonates long after the final chord.
