Black Coffee Foundation and LEPAS Announce Exciting Mobility Partnership.

The Black Coffee Foundation has announced a strategic partnership with LEPAS, which joins as the Foundation’s official mobility partner, supporting its ongoing mission to uplift and empower communities across South Africa. Rooted in a shared commitment to meaningful and sustainable impact, the partnership will enable the Black Coffee Foundation to expand its reach and deepen its work in underserved communities – ensuring that critical initiatives are delivered more efficiently, consistently, and at scale.

Since its establishment in 2010, the Black Coffee Foundation has played a vital role in supporting vulnerable communities through development initiatives focused on education, social relief, and community upliftment. The Foundation’s work continues to respond to both urgent needs and long-term development goals, with a strong emphasis on dignity, access, and opportunity.

Recent and ongoing initiatives include the Foundation’s Gifts of Sight by Black Coffee programme, which restores vision to school children in need, as well as infrastructure projects such as the rebuilding of homes in the Eastern Cape. The Foundation has also been active in delivering flood relief support to affected communities, reinforcing its commitment to being present and responsive in times of crisis. Through this partnership, LEPAS will provide mobility solutions that enable the Foundation to better access remote and underserved areas, transport resources more effectively, and scale its outreach efforts across the country.

Speaking on the partnership, founder of the Black Coffee Foundation, Black Coffee, said – “The work we do has always been about reaching people – not just in moments of need, but in ways that create a lasting change.” Adding to this, CEO of the Black Coffee Foundation, Lungie Maphumulo, said – “This partnership with LEPAS allows us to move further, respond quicker, and be more present in the communities we serve. It’s about making sure that impact is not limited by access, and that we continue to show up where it matters most.”

Commenting on the collaboration, Letitia Herold, National Brand and Marketing Manager of LEPAS South Africa, added, “At LEPAS, we believe that true elegance is defined by the impact one leaves behind. This partnership reflects our ‘Drive Your Elegance’ philosophy, where mobility becomes a bridge to empowerment. Partnering with the Black Coffee Foundation allows us to support a mission that is already transforming lives, and together, we are contributing to a future of shared progress and meaningful change in South Africa.”

As the Black Coffee Foundation continues to grow its footprint, this partnership marks an important step in ensuring that its initiatives reach further, respond faster, and ultimately transform more lives across South Africa.
