In a fashion landscape often defined by fleeting trends and exclusivity, NOI Collective emerges as a profound cultural shift. Founded by creative visionary Ryan Hing and esteemed fashion stylist Lethabo Motlatle, NOI Collective is not merely a brand; it is a curated fashion concept house and an inclusive ecosystem designed to celebrate global design while fostering a profound sense of belonging. The brand officially launches its online platform alongside its highly anticipated debut lookbooks.
The inception of NOI Collective is the culmination of a nearly two-decade-long friendship between Executive Creative Director Ryan Hing and Fashion Stylist Lethabo Motlatle. Combining their distinct disciplines, the duo has crafted a brand that bridges creative direction, styling, and cultural vision.

The seed for NOI was planted during their early years of friendship, but it was a transformative tour across Asia that catalysed the brand’s realisation. Recognising a distinct gap in the South African market for contemporary, precision-crafted streetwear, Hing and Motlatle sought to introduce forward-thinking, globally inspired design to their home country. “NOI translates to ‘a place,'” explains the founders. “The concept behind the name represents a place of belonging, a space where individuals within the creative and fashion community can feel connected to what we create. NOI exists as a place where people feel inspired, welcomed, and part of a moving fashion community with no status. We welcome everybody.“
At its core, NOI Collective champions a design philosophy rooted in minimalism, silhouette-focused garments, and subtle futurism. The brand’s aesthetic is characterised by an unwavering attention to detail and a commitment to timeless design. By prioritising longevity over seasonal trends, NOI ensures that every garment, from the meticulously crafted Architectural Indigo Denim Jacket to the avant-garde 3D Lasso Tank Top, remains a relevant and enduring staple in any wardrobe.

This ethos is vividly captured in the brand’s debut lookbook, MAGNETIC STEPS, which declares: “Silence over noise. Minimalism as the statement. Stillness as the power. Honesty as the truth. Magnetic Steps is movement with certainty. Grounded. Deliberate. Depth over display.”

To cultivate this community, NOI hosts monthly three-day pop-up activations and accessible fashion-meets-art exhibitions in Cape Town, with plans to expand to Johannesburg. These events are designed to build anticipation and offer a fresh, immersive experience with every drop, blending new designs with reimagined classics.
