King SweetKid Announced the Upcoming Release of his Deeply Personal Homecoming Documentary

Acclaimed South African musician  King SweetKid has officially announced the upcoming release of a deeply personal, landmark homecoming documentary. The documentary captures an emotional and historic moment for the Heidelberg-born artist as he journeys back to his hometown of Ratanda to share his recently acquired Gold Plaque with the community that raised him.

The prestigious RiSA Gold certification was awarded for King SweetKid’s standout contributions to Touchline’s critically acclaimed, chart-topping album, Before I Say More 2. Rather than celebrating the achievement solely within the industry circles of Johannesburg, the documentary follows King SweetKid as he physically takes the physical token of his success back to the streets of Ratanda.

The documentary serves as a profound visual prelude to King SweetKid’s broader creative calendar, as he concurrently prepares for the highly anticipated rollout of his debut studio album, Peace, Love and Everything Else. Following the success of his recent singles “ryd” and “thetha nami,” this cinematic documentary honours his roots before turning the page to his next major musical chapter.
