Superbalist is Rocking the Daisies loves the diversity, complexities, mix of style and quality beats that our SA artists deliver, that’s why across the ten stages they’ll be sprinkling some local magic and adding a host of our faves.
In addition to the first local line-up, which was announced in June – they have included the following artists: Prime Circle, Emtee, The Plastics, Das Kapital, Bantwanas Showcase, YETI, Speedsta, STTA, Dustland Express, The Plastics, Sol Gems, Mash.o, Roastin Records, DJ Superfly and White Night.

We always get what we want from stalwarts in the music scene, Prime Circle. These South African rock sensations have cemented their legacy as one of the most successful acts in local history. In a country where rock ‘n’ roll is a precious but rare commodity, Prime Circle has always been at the forefront of the genre’s progression. Front man, Ross Learmonth’s recognizable raspy voice gets us every time! But for the band, it’s not about rock stardom – it’s really still all about the fans and the songs. Says the lead singer, “Without the fans, we would be nothing. And I don’t ever want to do anything else. Creating music for a living is a privilege, and we never forget that.”

Hip-hop artist and producer Emtee is already changing the game. Wining multiple awards early on in his career, Emtee is without a doubt on the road to hip-hop royalty. Blessing the Two’s Up hip-hop stage, his performance is going to be on fire.
