In an exciting move that merges culture, music, and youth development, Betway and Betway Cares Foundation have partnered with Scorpion Kings Live with Friends to announce a groundbreaking internship programme for the highly anticipated Amapiano festival headlined by Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa.

The 100 Lives Initiative will give 100 young South Africans, between the ages of 18 and 28, the opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with the Scorpion Kings Live with Friends team as they bring the show to life. From production and logistics to communications and artist relations, interns will be immersed in every aspect of staging one of the biggest live music events in the country. Aspiring candidates are invited to apply by sending their CV and a short motivational cover letter to scorpionkingslive@gmail.com

Through this initiative, interns will benefit from skills development and training, preparing them for future careers in the entertainment, music and live events industries. In addition, Betway and Betway Cares will offer bursaries to select participants as part of their ongoing commitment to uplifting youth and investing in long-term impact. “As a strategic partner, Betway Cares is proud to work with Changemakers to tackle the issues facing youth in South Africa. The 100 Lives Initiative is about opening doors to real skills, real experience, and access to real opportunities,” said Bakang Lethoko, Head of Betway Cares Foundation

This isn’t just a show – it’s a movement,” said DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small. “Partnering with Betway means we’re not only creating an unforgettable night of music but also helping build the future of South African entertainment. We want young people to know they belong in these spaces.”
