2015 Vuzu Hustle winner, Big Star, has caused quite the wave with his rendition of AKA and Yanga’s latest single, titled Dreamwork. The new music sensation, Big Star dropped the “sick” freestyle (#DreamworkFreestyle) some time in May and the track made it into Twitter’s trending topics in South Africa immediately when it dropped, even the SuperMega himself gave the young artist a thumbs up.

 

2016 is definitely Big Star’s year. The release of his single, My Year ft Aewon Wolf, has been favourably received across the country and has already been play listed on 42 radio stations including the likes of Metro FM, 5FM, Highveld Stereo, Ukhozi FM, Gagasi FM, Capricorn FM, YFM, GoodHope FM and Heart FM. Big Star’s My Year ft Aewon Wolf is also charting on radio stations across the country and peaked at #1 on 5FM’s #TheStirUp Local Top 5 Chart with Ms Cosmo, and at #3 on 5FM’s Top 40 Chart.
