The long-awaited title track and music video for the Absolut Vodka “One Source” album dropped on Wednesday, 5 October and its collaborative nature is set to delight African music fans across the continent.
Motswako superstar Khuli Chana travelled across Africa to find a unique and eclectic mix of collaborators to really showcase the continent’s diverse talent – and the song itself promises to really give consumers an insight into what the Absolut Vodka brand want to achieve through this Pan-African musical celebration.
The “One Source” track and music video celebrates African unity and serves as a reminder that Africa is the birthplace of humanity and therefore is the true source of all creativity.
Sultry Kenyan songstress Victoria Kimani, Ghanaian hip hop sensation Sarkodie and his countryman, Zeal are but some of the featured artists in the visual kaleidoscope that captures Africa’s musical essence. Music lovers can also look out for DJ Breezy, Kgaugelo “KG” Choabi, E.L. and Osborne Macharia making their One Source debut in the video.
“Powerful artistic collaborations prove that the most meaningful connections are made between people who are Absolut about who they are and what they believe in. It’s these kinds of connections that I want to inspire through the “One Source” track and ultimately the album” says Chana.
