Maftown Heights Spiced Up by KFC Shares What to Expect on The Night

All roads lead to the 7th annual Maftown Heights festival spiced up by KFC this Friday, 25 November 2016, at Mary Fitzgerald Square, Newtown, Johannesburg from 15h00 till 03h00.

The Maftown Heights annual festival is supported by partners playing a key role in the South African urban youth landscape such as headline sponsor KFC, inception media partners: Channel O and YFM, Absolut, Vodacom NXT LVL, Liberado and PowerPlay. Here’s what you can expect from the various partners on the night.

Social Village:

A chill area, accessible only through the GENERAL ACCESS area where people can hang out. There will be FREE Wi-Fi  arcade games, and a Sparkling Krushers Bar where limited edition Sparkling Krushers will be served. A barber station will also be set up in this area too.

Recording Booth:

#KFCSoundStudio recording booth will be setup by the social village. It will be set up as a mini studio that will give fans the opportunity to record their own track! The #KFCSoundStudio is fitted with recording equipment, including an on-screen digital guide, and a selection of backing tracks.

Spiced Up Competition:

Attendees on the night can let us know by tagging @KFCSA on Twitter and using the hashtag #MaftownHeights2016 which artist they would like KFC to spice up their Maftown Heights experience with. From the fans that tweet, KFC will then choose two winners along with a friend (so 4 people in total) to win artist backstage passes, a meet and greet and photo opportunity with their performing artist of choice.

CHANNEL O

Meet your favourite Channel O / VUZU personalities and stand a chance to be interviewed by V-Entertainment.  Also, look out for the VUZU Hustle Season Two audition booth and get your entry in.

YFM

YFM will be broadcasting live at Maftown Heights. Meet your favourite YFM personalities and stand a chance to be interviewed live on air.

ABSOLUT

Absolut has once again collaborated with Maftown Heights and Khuli Chana. Look out for the Khuli Chana One Source Absolut stage moment and truly experience collaboration at its best.

VODACOM NXT LVL

Vodacom NXT LVL will host media and celebrities to an unforgettable VIP Experience. Customers who register on Vodacom NXT LVL can stand the chance to get their experience upgraded to the NXT LVL VIP (register on Vodacom NXT LVL by dialing the *111*128# to join Vodacom NXT LVL). Attendees at Maftown Heights can also expect a surprise on stage moment with one of the artist on the line-up brought to you by Vodacom NXT LVL.

POWERPLAY VIP

Those lucky to have purchased VIP tickets before they SOLD OUT will be hosted by PowerPlay VIP. Guests in this area can expect PowerPlay recommended mixers as welcome drinks, light catering, bar specials, bottle service and access to games such as: Arcade Machine, Table Tennis, Foosball and Air-hockey. PowerPlay will also bring you the New Kids On The Block, namely DJ Speedtsa’s Mayo live performance.
