SlR live in SA presented by Flying Fish & Alchemy

In 2017, Kool Out launched the Alchemy Music Festival #AMF with a three-day music series
showcasing the Johannesburg CBD and revolutionizing the music landscape as Africa’s first
production-based festival.

This ground-breaking festival attracted over 5,000 attendees and trended across all
social media platforms with the Tom Misch concert currently considered
“concert of the year” by JHB most culturally plugged audience. Kool Out have now partnered with Matchbox Live (Oppikoppi); Flying Fish to create an
urban youth targeted concert featuring the sounds of soulful with a hip-hop twist
entertainer artist SIR on Friday 26th October 2018. The local acts include Rouge & the Brass Cartel, Thabsie, Uncle Party Time & Capital; P Kuttah; Akio and DJ Vigilante.

 

SIR is a Los Angeles based soul singer that has recently signed to one of the world’s leading
independent record labels Top Dawg Entertainment; home to Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, SZA,
etc. He has worked with some of the biggest names in R&B including Anita Baker and has written for
legends such as Jill Scott and Stevie Wonder. In 2018, SIR released the critically acclaimed November album which has produced the popular singles “D’evils” and “Something Foreign” featuring Schoolboy Q and has been lauded as a probable Grammy nominee for R&B album of the year.
